I wanted to create a photorealistic alphabet poster that captured the feel of an antique typewriter. As soon as I settled on the concept the mechanics of putting the piece together were very straightforward. The keys were created using filtration and shading while the filagree, created in Illustrator, was inspired by the grillwork of an antique Lincoln Continental.
